This is the perfect project to try as you can work on it at your own pace and learn a new skill and enjoy the mindful craft of embroidery.
This design was inspired by the plant in my parents living room growing up - I was always fascinated by it's colloquial name (Mother-In-Law's Tongue).
I love this design as it uses just two different embroidery stitches and combines these with felt to create a contemporary, modern stitched artwork.
This listing is for an embroidery DIY kit which will arrive with you packaged in a A5 sized box (that fits straight through a standard letterbox).
The kit contains:
- a 5 inch embroidery hoop
- cotton backing fabric
- printed instruction booklet with step by step guidance for all stages of the project
- 100% cotton embroidery thread
- wool mix felt
- embroidery needle
- pins
To complete the project you will also need a pair of small sharp scissors which are not provided in the kit.
