This is the perfect project to try as you can work on it at your own pace and learn a new skill and enjoy the mindful craft of embroidery.
This design was inspired by the elephant ear plant in my living room that has recovered from my initial overwatering and is producing new leaves. In this design I wanted to capture the amazing shapes and colours of this plant.
I love this design as it combines traditional embroidery stitches with felt to create a contemporary, modern stitched artwork.
This listing is for an embroidery DIY kit which will arrive with you packaged in a A5 sized box (that fits straight through a standard letterbox).
The kit contains:
- a 6 inch embroidery hoop
- cotton backing fabric
- printed colour instruction booklet with step by step instructions for all stages of the project
- 100% cotton embroidery thread
- wool mix felt
- embroidery needle
- pins
To complete the project you will also need a pair of small sharp scissors which are not provided in the kit.
